ZOO ACADEMY: RINGO’S Rangers

A full-day wildlife experience for aspiring zoo keepers aged 8 years and over!

What to Expect:

• Spend the session with a dedicated Discovery Team member and discover the world of modern-day zoos and is involved in a zookeepers day
• Explore the history of zoos and learn how today’s zoos support animal welfare, education and conservation through fun, hands-on activities
• Go behind the scenes to visit working zookeeper areas
• Enjoy a guided wildlife walk around the park, discovering unique animal behaviours and adaptations, and learning to identifying some of our amazing animal residents
• Take on exciting zookeeper challenges, including designing an animal enclosure and helping to create enrichment for one of our animals before watching it enjoy its special treat (no live animal handling or contact)
• Receive a Ranger’s Goodie Bag to take home
