Our Group Discount rates are as follows:

15 or more paying visitors:  20%
If booked and paid at least 3 weeks in advance

If booked in advance but paid on the day of your visit:  10%


Please note:

  • These discounts only apply when you have a group of 15 or more PAYING people.

Birthday Parties

Mini Keeper Party

Ideal for children 5 to 14 years old. Minimum: 5 children and maximum: 15 children One free adult with every five paying children / additional adults: £6

2 hour experience includes: V.I.P tour, Discovery Centre animal handling experience, arts and crafts, plus lunch box in reserved area (30 mins) in Discovery Centre.

Ringos Playbarn Party

Badged-standingwaving

Ideal for children up to 14 years old. Minimum: 10 children and maximum: 30 children One free adult with every four paying children / additional adults: £6

Included: 11:30 – 13:00 use of the Party Room in Ringo’s Play Barn, birthday food, balloons and party banners. Entrance to the Wildlife Park for the day.

Food

COLD BUFFET: Sandwiches (cheese/ham/jam/chocolate spread), crisps, sausage rolls, selection of cakes (cup cakes and mini rolls), fruit and blackcurrant & orange squash

HOT MEALS: Pizza, chicken nuggets, fish fingers or hot dogs with chips, beans, peas or salad, selection of cakes (cup cakes and mini rolls), fruit and blackcurrant & orange squash

You can bring your own birthday cake, which we are happy to cut for you.

Education

Pre-school, Reception Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4

Protocol and Guidelines for standard Education Session
(Also applies to general public sessions, parties and group bookings)

Staff present in Education Session
This will comprise of one Education Officer and one volunteer.

Size of class
Sessions can hold a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 80 students.

Location
On-site Education Sessions are held in the Education Centre.

Health and Safety
Guidance and safety information is given on arrival, to each visiting group by an Education Officer.

Animal Handling
Staff and volunteers are trained in the safe handling of each species used in talks, with animal welfare and health and safety requirements being a priority. Animals are held in carry crates behind the screened area next to the stage, prior to handling. A rotation based handling format ensures individual animals are not over stressed.

Timing and duration of sessions
Training is given to all Education staff and volunteers in how to time various aspects of the session
Training is also given on how to work through interpreters, and with special needs children and adults.

Session guidelines are available for the complimentary on-site 40-minute sessions, but can also be expanded upon for the one hour sessions and Outreach Programme

1 day camps: £30 (Additional sibling: £25)

What’s included:
Admission for one child into Shepreth Wildlife Park at the times specified, Ringo’s Ranger Badge, and Ringo’s Ranger Membership certificate.

What’s not included:
Lunch – please provide a packed lunch for your child.
