Promotions & Special Offers

In participating in any special promotional offer you enter into an agreement with Shepreth Wildlife Park on these specific terms. Once a promotional offer has been taken, the offer / voucher is valid for the terms of use specified only and is non-transferable.

  • Each type of promotional offer includes the benefits stated on the voucher, as at the time you make your application. Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to change these benefits at any time and without prior notice.
  • Any voucher is for the use by the (named) holder only and is not transferable under any circumstances.
  • Any promotional offer is only entitled to entry to the attraction as indicated on the voucher, at the time the pass was taken out, during normal opening hours.
  • Vouchers are not valid after their expiry date.
  • Admission to the attraction will not be granted under any circumstances without the production of a valid voucher. If you do not have your voucher with you on the day of admission, the current full admission charge must be paid, which is non-refundable.
  • Car park space availability cannot be guaranteed or spaces reserved. Visitors leave their vehicle at their own risk.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to refuse entry to the attraction and/or cancel a voucher without refund if the voucher holder, or anyone accessing the attraction by virtue of a promotional voucher, breaches the terms and conditions relating to access to the Wildlife Park.
  • Entrance to the attraction remains subject to all other Shepreth Wildlife Park standard terms and conditions of entry.
  • Any voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
  • Voucher balances and refunds are not transferable and have a cash redemption value of 0.001p.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park will be closed to all visitors Tuesdays and Wednesdays between November and February.  
  • Tesco Vouchers are valid for use only on full-priced tickets (Adults: £13.50, Concessions: £12.50 & Children: £11.50). Strictly not valid on Event Days and 28th August 2023
  • Please Note: During School Holidays the only valid promotions are, Uniformed Service discount, Train Discount and Tesco Reward vouchers.

FREE CHILD Entry Pass (Winter)

  • Valid 1st October until 30th March each year
  • Child: 2 – 15 years old.
  • Strictly not valid during School Holidays, on Bank Holidays or Event days.
  • Voucher must be presented at entrance tills before paying.
  • Voucher entitles the holder to one free child admission with one full paying adult.
  • Not valid with any other offers, including train discounts or payment by Tesco vouchers.
  • Entry Terms and Conditions apply.
  • Maximum of 2 vouchers per family. 

Entry into Shepreth Wildlife Park

Exhibits at Shepreth Wildlife Park are designed to complement the animals and vegetation in our collection. Free-roaming animals, streams and elevated walkways, for example, can be dangerous. Children (15 years old and under) must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. It is an express condition of your entry and your participation in the activities conducted by Shepreth Wildlife Park that you do hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, assigns and next-of-kin and each of them release, waive and discharge Shepreth Wildlife Park, it’s directors and employees of and from all liability, claims or demands for all injuries, losses, damages of any kind or nature to your person or property or to that of any minor under your supervision, while on the property of Shepreth Wildlife Park.

Shepreth Wildlife Park will enforce conditions of entry as per its authority under the Zoo Licensing Act.

  • A guest is any person or persons on the grounds of Shepreth Wildlife Park or by virtue of a ticket or for any other reason.
  • A guest must enter via a public entrance and, where applicable, pay the entrance fee.
  • A guest is not permitted to bring into the Wildlife Park any animal; animal costume; ball; balloon; bicycle, scooter, skateboard, roller blades or similar apparatus; alcohol or illegal substance.
  • A guest is not permitted to use any audio equipment or musical instrument at a volume likely to disturb any animal; or behave in a manner that is likely to cause offence or disruption to other guests.
  • A guest is not permitted to touch or interfere with any animal or vegetation; remove or disturb any rock, stone, sand or similar substance; feed any animal; throw any object; climb on, damage or deface any structure or sign; light any fire; or litter.
  • A guest is not permitted to conduct any commercial activity in Wildlife Park grounds including the use of any media equipment.
  • A guest is not permitted to enter or remain outside public hours or enter any non-public area or exhibit.
  • All guests must abide with any other conditions displayed in Wildlife Park grounds or communicated by Wildlife Park staff.
  • No dogs are allowed within the grounds of the Wildlife Park.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park’s Farm Train reserves the right to refuse travel to any person. All children up to the age of 6 travelling on the Farm Train must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park has the authority to close the Wildlife Park or any part there of, including any animal exhibit (animals off display) or show, at any time for reasons of adverse weather, equipment failure, maintenance and construction, or in the interests of safety and will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by a guest as the result of such closure.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park is a smoke-free site. Smoking is prohibited in all Wildlife Park buildings, vehicles and outdoor areas, except for outside the Farm Yard toilet area.
  • Guests who do not comply may be removed.
  • There will be no refunds due to inclement weather or animals resting or sleeping.
  • Child: 2 – 15 years old.
  • Concession: over 65 years old or student.

Experiences & Adoptions

The following terms and conditions apply when entering into any transaction with Shepreth Wildlife Park.

Please note that more than one set of specific terms may apply to a single transaction and where this is the case you will be entering into a distinct contract for each transaction type.

The following definitions apply:

  • An adult is a person aged from 16 years old to 64 years old (inclusive).
  • A child is a person aged from 2 years old to 15 years old (inclusive). Children will not be admitted into Shepreth Wildlife Park without an adult.
  • An infant is a person less than 2 years old – we do not sell the gift ticket for this age group. Infants are admitted free of charge into Shepreth Wildlife Park.
  • A concession means a disabled person, senior, carer or student.
  • A senior is a person aged 65 years or more.
  • A student means an adult or senior who holds any type of valid photographic identity card showing they are a student.

Annual Passes

  • In purchasing any Annual Pass you enter into an agreement with Shepreth Wildlife Park on these specific terms. Once an Annual Pass Card has been purchased, the ticket is non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances. This is at Shepreth Wildlife Park’s discretion.
  • Each type of Annual Pass includes the benefits stated on the pass, as at the time you make your application. Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to change these benefits at any time and without prior notice.
  • Any photo card issued with your Annual Pass is for use by the named holder only, and is not transferable under any circumstances.
  • Any Annual Pass holder is only entitled to entry to the attraction as indicated on the application for their type of pass, at the time the pass was taken out, during normal opening hours.
  • Annual Passes are not valid after their expiry date and remain the property of Shepreth Wildlife Park at all times.
  • Admission to the attraction will not be granted under any circumstances without the production of a valid Annual Pass. If you do not have your card with you on the day of admission, the current full admission charge must be paid, which is non-refundable.
  • The Annual Pass is not a credit card, charge card or cheque guarantee card.
  • An administration charge of £5 will be made for lost or replacement of an Annual Pass  should you require one.
  • Car park space availability cannot be guaranteed or spaces reserved. Visitors leave their vehicle at their own risk.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to refuse entry to the attraction and/or cancel an Annual Pass without refund if the photo card holder, or anyone accessing the attraction by virtue of an Annual Pass, breaches the terms and conditions relating to access to the Wildlife Park.
  • Entrance to the attraction remains subject to all other Shepreth Wildlife Park standard terms and conditions of entry.
  • Unless otherwise stated an Annual Pass runs for a period of 12 months from the date of your approved application.
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park will be closed to visitors Tuesdays and Wednesdays between November and February every year.
  • Annual Passes are not valid on Bank Holidays.

Gift Tickets Terms

  • Please note gift tickets are valid for 12 months from the day of purchase, and enable the visitor to visit once throughout that period.
  • When your booking has been confirmed your tickets will be dispatched to the address specified. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the information you have supplied to us is accurate prior to making a purchase. We are only responsible for issuing gift tickets in accordance with the information you provide.
  • Gift tickets are non-transferrable.

Gift Vouchers Terms

Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and change will not be given• Gift Vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase• Gift Vouchers may be used in full or part payment for purchases in Shepreth Wildlife Park’s Ringo’s Play Barn, gift shop or for admission into the Wildlife Park.

Animal Adoption Terms

  • Animal Adoptions will expire 1 year from the date they are processed.
  • Each Animal Adoption includes the benefits as stated on the Animal Adoption Package. Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to change these benefits at any time and without prior notice.

Shepreth Wildlife Park Admission Ticket Terms

Shepreth Wildlife Park admission tickets can be used once and are valid for 12 months. A child ticket can be used by children aged 2-15 years old. Children under the age of 2 years old are admitted free of charge into the Wildlife Park. Admission tickets are non-refundable and cannot be used to receive a discounted rate on our memberships or in conjunction with any promotional offer.

20% discount offer at other attractions (Annual Pass Holders only)

  • This offer is valid for the named season ticket/annual pass holder only and is not transferable. Additional proof of ID may be required upon entry.
  • The offer entitles the named season ticket/annual pass holder to 20% discount off normal admission prices.
  • This offer is not valid on special events or public holidays. Please check with the attraction you are visiting as to specific opening hours and event days.
  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • To benefit from this offer, your season ticket/annual pass must be presented at admission on arrival. Refunds or discounts cannot be given retrospectively. No advance booking required.
  • Please visit website of venue for details of general entry T&C’s.
  • This offer is valid until 1st March 2022.

Animal Experience Terms

  • When the duration of the experience is mentioned/advertised, this is an approximate indication and may differ on the day of your booked Experience.
  • All Experiences will be available on selected dates according to availability. Places are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once the Experience date has been booked, the Experience cannot be rescheduled and is non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances: illness/injury, pregnancy or bereavement. This is at Shepreth Wildlife Park’s discretion. Work commitments or holidays/trips away from home are not deemed to be exceptional circumstances.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the Wildlife Park should they behave in an inappropriate or unsafe manner.
  • All Experiences are only suitable for the ages specified.
  • Meet the Red Panda, Meet the Aardvark, Nocturnal House Experience, Meet the Capybara & Meet the Lemurs  are suitable for over 16 year olds only.
  • African Sands Experience & Junior Keeper Experience are suitable for children 10-15 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the experience. There will be no charge for the accompanying adult.
  • Mini Keeper Experience is suitable for children 5 years old and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the experience. There will be no charge for the accompanying adult.
  • Meet the Otters is suitable for any age. Children 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the experience. There will be no charge for the accompanying adult.
  • Regrettably, certain guests will be unable to take part including people with relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant woman and immuno-compromised individuals.
  • Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved; please contact Shepreth Wildlife Park for advice before purchasing.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to reschedule any of the booked dates for the Animal Experiences. Shepreth Wildlife Park will give as much notice as possible; however, this cannot always be guaranteed. Shepreth Wildlife Park cannot cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs if the scheduled date is cancelled.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to alter or cancel the Experience on any given day due to animal welfare or health issues or a change to the Wildlife Park’s collection, but Shepreth Wildlife Park will ensure that if this is the case then the activity will be replaced with another similar task. Shepreth Wildlife Park will give as much notice as possible; however, this cannot always be guaranteed.
  • In cases of severe weather, the Experience may be rescheduled for another day. Shepreth Wildlife Park will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible but please be aware that cancellations may occur on the day of your Experience for reasons beyond Shepreth Wildlife Park’s control.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park does reserve the right to cancel your Experience if you arrive more than 30 minutes after your pre-booked Experience time.

General Terms

  • Personal Information & Placing an Order
  • Please ensure that the information you provide at the time of making your booking is correct and complete. However, Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right not to act on any requested changes unless it would be unreasonable not to act.

Your Booking

  • Once an order is placed, the cost of your booking and estimated dispatch will be specified in the order confirmation. Shepreth Wildlife Park will aim to ensure that prices and charges listed at the time of order are accurate, but Shepreth Wildlife Park cannot accept any liability if the information displayed is incorrect.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park will inform you of the correct price or charge in the event that an error has been made. Shepreth Wildlife Park will endeavour to inform you within a reasonable time of Shepreth Wildlife Park becoming aware of this error and you will be asked if you wish to continue with your order on the basis of the correct information.
  • Your order will be cancelled if Shepreth Wildlife Park does not receive confirmation that you wish to proceed with your order within a reasonable period, in response to the notification.

Payment

When you place an order through the website, via our leaflets or by telephone, this will be an offer by you to purchase the Shepreth Wildlife Park goods. Shepreth Wildlife Park will then acknowledge this order. Once your order is completed successfully online, over the phone or via our leaflet, payment will then be taken from your payment card or by cheque.

Cancellation Policy

  • Birthday Parties
  • If cancelled at least two weeks in advance – no charge
  • If cancelled one to two weeks in advance – £25 charge (deducted if re-booked within 6 months)
  • If cancelled  in under one week – £50 charge (£25 deducted if re-booked within 6 months)
  • On the day number reductions – £5 charge per child
  • School bookings
  • If cancelled at least two weeks in advance – no charge
  • If cancelled one to two weeks in advance – 50p charge per child (deducted if re-booked within 6 months)
  • If cancelled  in under one week – £1 charge per child (50p deducted if re-booked within 6 months)
  • On the day number reductions – £1 charge per child

Dispatch

  • All items are supplied subject to availability and may become unavailable at any time. If Shepreth Wildlife Park is unable to supply the item within 14 days of your order we will inform you that this is the case.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park will supply your items within 7 days but endeavour to dispatch items within 3-5 workings days from the date of purchase; however, delays will occasionally be inevitable in circumstances such as the unavailability of specific items or due to factors outside of Shepreth Wildlife Park’s control. Shepreth Wildlife Park will not be liable for any delay or failure to dispatch items within the estimated timescale.

Items will usually be delivered by Royal Mail. Shepreth Wildlife Park cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays following dispatch.

  • At present Shepreth Wildlife Park delivers to the UK only.
  • All prices listed include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery charges.

Access to Shepreth Wildlife Park

  • A child or infant must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The last admission to Shepreth Wildlife Park is one hour prior to the advertised closing time.
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry into or remove from the premises, any person.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, a person who:
  • has behaved in a manner which, Shepreth Wildlife Park feels has, or is likely to, adversely affect the animals at the Wildlife Park or the safety or enjoyment of other visitors.
  • is, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • to prevent offensive weapons or dangerous articles from being taken into the Wildlife Park, visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/ or their belongings to be searched by Shepreth Wildlife Park staff.
  • has used threatening, abusive or insulting words, or behaviour which in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace or may disturb animals.

Defective Goods

Shepreth Wildlife Park will always accept the return of and offer a refund (including original postage and packing costs) for defective goods returned within fourteen days of delivery, as long as the item is returned in its complete and original packaging together with a copy of your confirmation of order receipt. On return please provide a brief description of the fault.

Non-Defective Goods Returns and Order Cancellation

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order and or return an item purchased through the Shepreth Wildlife Park online shop within 7 (seven) days of delivery for any reason. Shepreth Wildlife Park will refund your payment card with both the item cost and original posting and packaging cost within a reasonable period of time.

Unfortunately, Shepreth Wildlife Park is not able to refund the cost of return postage and packaging. Please note this does not include the right to return personalised items and admission tickets.

  • A refund can only be made to the purchaser on the same card originally used for payment.
  • A refund cannot be given once a booking has been made, or on extended, expired or exchanged vouchers.

Amendments to the Terms

Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to alter its terms and conditions, product details and prices at any given time without prior notice.  Shepreth Wildlife Park reserves the right to remove any discounts and other promotional offers at any given time without prior notice.

Events Beyond Shepreth Wildlife Park’s Reasonable Control

Shepreth Wildlife Park will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under these terms if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond its reasonable control. This term does not affect your statutory rights.

Waiver

If you breach these terms and Shepreth Wildlife Park takes no action, Shepreth Wildlife Park will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these terms.

Warranty as to Age and Residential Status

You warrant…

  • That you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into any transaction through our website (including instructing us to collect any payments from a payment card or billing account).
  • To use our website, phone booking and leaflets in accordance with the terms and conditions.
  • You agree to be financially responsible for all transactions you undertake
  • That you are a resident of the United Kingdom.

Third Party Rights

None of the terms shall be enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a party other than you or Shepreth Wildlife Park.

Law

These terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English Law, and any claim brought under the terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Our website and leaflets are directed to the United Kingdom and therefore certain terms and conditions may not be applicable to non United Kingdom nationals who access.
