Capybara Experience
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of capybaras with our exclusive Capybara Experience, tailored for those aged 8 and above. This 30-minute encounter not only grants you access to the wildlife park but also offers a rare chance to interact with these fascinating creatures.
As you enter their habitat, be prepared for heartwarming moments. The capybaras, known for their gentle nature, may approach you with curiosity. Experience the joy of feeding them bamboo, a delightful exchange that creates a connection between you and these charming animals.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there – the capybaras often display a friendly demeanor, allowing you the privilege of gently stroking them. It’s a unique opportunity to appreciate the beauty of these creatures up close and personal.
Over 8 years old: £100 + £75 per additional person (max. 3 people)
- Participants must be 16 years old or over to participate on their own.
- *Participants over 8 years old must be accompanied by a full paying adult participant (over 18 years old)
Animal Encounter Experience includes:
- Your experience helps us to support Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity
- Entrance into the Wildlife Park (no separate admission ticket required)

Booking your experience:
- You have the choice to book your experience date at the time of purchase, or you can order a 12-month gift e-voucher.
- If you wish to book a date at the time of purchase, please follow the instructions on this page.
- Alternatively, you can purchase a gift e-voucher with 12 months validity, which is emailed to the purchaser of the voucher within 5 working days of receipt of your order. If you wish for this e-voucher to be sent to a different email address, please specify this in the Notes section at checkout.
- The email containing your e-voucher will also include information on how to make a booking within the 12 months.

Booked this for my girlfriends birthday last year, only just got around to going. We had the best time ever! The amazing Liz took us in with them, and we had the best time. She was so amazing with the animals and us and really enlightened us and taught us about the animals! Would 100% recommend. Money well spent!
